Culture Ministry Launches New Batch of Foreign Honorary Reporters

A new batch of foreign honorary reporters has been selected to promote South Korean culture around the world.

The Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony at the National Hangeul Museum in Seoul Friday, announcing a total of 76 foreign nationals who were selected as the fifth group of Honorary Reporters for Korea.net, a promotional website run by the KOCIS.

The honorary reporters will write stories about South Korea for a year beginning in January and share them through Korea.net, as well as social media, such as Facebook, YouTube and blogs.

They are composed of 29 nationalities from North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia, and vary in age and vocation.
