S. Korea Achieves Overall Victory at Women's Bowling Championship

South Korea was the overall winner at the 2015 World Bowling Women's Championships in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Team Korea, led by Coach Kang Dae-yeon, ended the championships with three gold, two silver and three bronze medals.

Jung Da-wun sealed South Korea's last gold medal and the overall victory by defeating the United States' Liz Johnson with a score of 256 to 183 in the final of the master's event on Sunday.

It was the second consecutive overall victory for South Korea, following the 2013 World Championships in Las Vegas.

The women's team also won medals in all six events at a world championship for the first time in South Korea's bowling history, men and women combined.
