The state-run trade agency is hosting two days of cyber business talks between Korean exporters and Chinese buyers.

The Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency said dozens of local exporters and buyers from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan are participating in the on-line event.

The event will hook up Korean exporters with prospective overseas buyers via Internet-based video-conferences at the agency's headquarters in Seoul and its overseas branches.

The agency hopes the event will help offset the loss incurred by an outbreak of SARS in China and Southeast Asia.
