S. Koreans Win at Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians

Seven South Korean youths have won awards at the 9th International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians, which is open to those under 17.
 
At this year's competition, held in Novosibirsk, Russia between December 5 and Tuesday, 15-year-old Ye Su-ah placed first in piano and 16-year-old Kim Dong-hyun placed first in violin.
 
Among 20 young musicians who were honored, seven were South Korean, including 16-year-old Yang Sang-a, who placed second in cello.
