The Seoul Metropolitan Government began operating an ice rink in Yeouido Park Tuesday afternoon.

The new rink, which is around two-thousand square meters, is similar in size to an ice rink set up in front of Seoul Plaza.

Located within the cultural event plaza of Yeouido Park, the rink will be open for 55 days through February 14 between 10 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. every day.

The city government will also open sledding hills on Saturday in Ttukseom Park and Yeouido Han River Park, which will open every day through February between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Other sledding hills will also open near Anyang Stream in Guro District and Dorim Stream in Gwanak District until mid-February.
