President Park Geun-hye expressed wishes for a joyful, blessed and heartwarming Christmas when more attention can be given to disadvantaged neighbors.
 
In a message on social media Thursday, she also thanked everyone who practiced the virtue of sharing.
 
Citing a recent email exchange with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on the topic, Park said she hopes to see more Koreans sharing and making donations.
 
Zuckerberg made headlines following the birth of his daughter when he announced that he will give away 99 percent of his Facebook shares.
 
President Park also shared a photo of five Jindo dogs raised at the presidential office, saying the dogs have grown big and are being parceled out.
 
The presidential office said the five canines were puppies born from two dogs Park received as a gift from a citizen living in Samseongdong, southern Seoul.
