Christian Council of Korea Calls for Harmony

The Christian Council of Korea (CCK) has called for overcoming the hostility, conflict, discord and division of the past to make a leap towards fellowship, harmony, union and consensus.

Pastor Lee Young-hoon, president of the CCK, said in a New Year's address that opening an era of reconciliation, union and coalition will lead to the basis of inter-Korean unification.

The CCK said harmony is made possible when one sacrifices oneself for another. He said fellowship will sprout in our society when people refrain from criticizing each other, concede and put others before themselves.

He said absolute harmony will be achieved through love, adding that just as Jesus loved the people, 2016 should be a year when Christians take after Christ and live a life of love.
