The Vienna Boys’ Choir will hold auditions in South Korea later this month to recruit talented young singers.

The auditions will begin as the 520-year-old choir kicks off a tour of the country from January 15. 

The choir will receive email applications with video recordings of applicants and invite qualified candidates for auditions individually. Only boys aged nine or older may apply.

The special auditions in the country are the result of a growing number of queries on joining the choir from South Korea.
