A Korean construction firm operating in Russia says an industrial complex exclusively for South Korean companies will be established near the Russian capital of Moscow. In an announcement over the weekend, the West Group Story said the industrial park will be the first time a Korean-only industrial site is set up in that country. The company said it held a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday for an industrial park in Kaluga Oblast, some 92 kilometers from Moscow. It plans to complete construction of the facility's first phase of development by early July. The size of the complex will initially be 14 hectares and later be expanded to 64 hectares. The company explained the site has many advantages, such as easy access, abundance of human resources and material supplies.
