The St. Louis Cardinals have signed South Korean relief pitcher Oh Seung-hwan to a one-year contract with a club option for a second year.
 
According to MLB.com and the Bleacher Report, Oh thanked the Cardinals for the continued trust and love the team showed him. Oh added that he was eager to compete with major league batters.
 
Cardinals General Manager John Mozeliak said Oh would add to what is "already a very dynamic bullpen.”
 
Oh and the Cardinals have agreed not to disclose the details of the contract.
