S. Korean Striker Suk Hyun-jun Transferred to FC Porto

South Korean football player Suk Hyun-jun has completed his transfer to FC Porto from another Portuguese club, Vitoria Setubal.

FC Porto, one of the Big Three clubs in the Portugal’s top tier league Primeira Liga, announced Thursday that it has acquired Suk, unveiling photos of him wearing the club's uniform with blue and white stripes.

Suk played 16 matches for Vitoria this season, scoring nine goals and setting up seven others.

The striker's contract with FC Porto is due to end on June 30, 2020 and has a buyout clause valued at around 39-point-75 billion won, or roughly 32-point-84 million U.S. dollars.

Under the clause, another team can claim him if it pays the buyout value.
