Special Exhibition 'Gift from the King of Baekje' Under Way

A special exhibition that sheds light on the Baekje Kingdom and its kings is under way at the Seoul Baekje Museum.

The exhibit titled the "Gift from the King of Baekje" opened on December 29th and will run through February 28th. 

The show features some 190 relics and figurines, bestowed by Baekje's kings, giving a glimpse of the kingdom's governance methods. Some highlights include a gilt-bronze cap and an iron sword.

Baekje was one of the three kingdoms during the Three Kingdoms Period, which lasted for some 700 years. Baekje Kingdom's 31 kings ruled the southwestern part of the Korean Peninsula from the kingdom's establishment in 18 B.C. until its demise in 660 A.D.
