In the two-man bobsleigh in Whistler, Canada on Saturday, Won Yun-jong and Seo Young-woo recorded a combined time of one minute and 43-point-41 seconds.
The duo tied with Swiss' Rico Peter and Thomas Amrhein. Russia came in third, recording zero-point-01 second longer than the winning teams.
This is the first time that an Asian country has won the gold medal in the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation World Cup.
