An eighty-four-year-old South Korean has run a full course at a mountain marathon in the Himalayas. The marathon was held in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the "Conquest of Mount Everest " by Sir Edmund Hillary in May 1953. Organizers said runners from 35 countries, including the United States and Canada, participated in the event.
