Lee-AlphaGo Match to Start March 9

A date has been set for a match between South Korean go player Lee Se-dol and AlphaGo, a go-playing computer program developed by Google.

The five-game tournament will start on March ninth, with the second game scheduled the next day, and the third and fourth games set for the 12th and 13th.

The final game will be held on March 15th and will be broadcast live on YouTube.

Google will announce the venue and rules for the match later this month.

Lee Se-dol is a nine-dan rank player of the board game of Go called "baduk" in Korean. He's regarded as one of the best Go players in the world.
