S. Korea Wins 2016 Bakery World Cup

South Korea has won first place at the ninth Bakery World Cup in Paris, also known as the Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie.
 
The South Korean trio made up of Lee Chang-min, Kim Jong-ho and Park Yong-joo won the competition that wrapped up on Tuesday in Villepinte, a commune in the northeastern suburbs of the French capital.
 
The Bakery World Cup was first held in 1992 and takes place every four years.
 
Taiwan came in second and France came third in this year's event that saw 12 nations compete, including teams from the U.S., China and Japan.
