Women's Football Roster Set for Olympic Qualifiers

The roster has been finalized for the South Korean women's football team which will compete in the Asian qualifiers for the Rio Olympics in Brazil this summer.
 
Coach Yoon Deok-yeo finalized the 20-member squad for the final qualification round of the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro. The list includes key attackers, Ji So-yun and Jeon Ga-eul.
 
The team, currently training in Mokpo, South Jeolla Province, will begin the qualification round in Osaka, Japan from February 29th.
 
South and North Korea, Japan, Australia, China and Vietnam will play each other once, with the top two teams advancing to the Rio games.
 
South Korea, which ranks 18th in the FIFA rankings, will face sixth-ranked North Korea in its first match on February 29th.
 
The team will depart for Japan on February 25th.
