S. Korean 119 Team Helps Rescue Efforts in Algeria

A South Korean 119 rescue team is in Algeria to help with search and rescue efforts. The 21-member team under the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs will join rescue activities in the capital city of Algiers and nearby regions until the end of this month. Meanwhile, the Algerian government said that as of Saturday, almost 1900 people were killed and some 7600 people injured in the 6-point-7 magnitude earthquake that hit the region east of Algiers on Wednesday.
