The Unification Ministry has urged North Korea to refrain from raising the level of threats against South Korea.
 
Ministry Spokesman Jeong Joon-hee told reporters on Monday that the North has been issuing threats and slandering President Park Geun-hye via media reports and statements day in and day out, calling such moves a national shame.
 
Jeong added that such slandering reveals to the world the standard of the North’s leadership. The spokesman pressed the North to refrain from and not, by any means, engage in defamation actions.
