A portion of a sci-fi action-thriller starring American actress Anne Hathaway, titled "Colossal," will be filmed in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province Sunday and Monday.
 
The city of Bucheon said Friday that filming will take place from Sunday 2 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning on roads and pedestrian streets behind Koryo Hotel in Bucheon's Wonmi district.
 
City officials said access to vehicles and citizens will be restricted during the period, and that congestion is expected in the commercial area with people gathering to catch a glimpse of the movie’s stars.
 
South Korea is set as the background of the monster movie "Colossal" in which humans battle an enormous creature.
