S. Korea, UK Agree to Support Private Exchanges in Cultural Industries

South Korea and Britain have agreed to actively support bilateral exchanges with the private sector in the creative and cultural industries.
 
Culture, Sports and Tourism Minister Kim Jong-deok and his British counterpart John Whittingdale adopted a joint statement and agreed cooperation during a related forum in London on Monday.
 
The two nations also designated the period from February next year to March 2018 as the year of bilateral exchanges and agreed to pursue diverse programs for the year.
