Spring Celebrations to be Held at Joseon Palaces and Historical Sites

South Korea's Cultural Heritage Administration will hold a variety of spring celebrations at the four ancient palaces, the Jongmyo Shrine and the royal tombs of the Joseon Dynasty.
 
It is predicted that flowers of the Japanese spice bush will begin blooming on March 18th at Changdeok Palace, apricot blossoms at Deoksu Palace on the 25th and cherry blossoms at Gyeongbok Palace on the 30th.
 
At Deoksu Palace, a music concert will be held every Friday starting from April first.
 
A regular book reading event will take place in the backyard of Changdeok Palace from April 27th.
 
Gyeongbok Palace will host an introductory presentation of royal cuisines starting in May.
