The K-pop girl group Mamamoo's first full-length album "Melting" reached number eight on the U.S. Billboard World Albums Chart on Friday.
 
The World Albums Chart ranks the sales of all albums released outside the United States. The four-member Mamamoo is the only K-pop girl group to make the rankings.
 
Billboard.com also posted a column in its K-pop section "K-Town" that read, "Mamamoo's 'Melting' brings retro soul back to K-Pop."
 
The column said that Mamamoo’s Melting is bringing a retro soul feel back to the K-pop world, and "heralds the Korean quartet's rise to the top ranks of the girl group hunger games."
