S. Korean Rhythmic Gymnast Wins Medals at Lisbon World Cup

South Korean rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae won three medals on the final day of the International Gymnastics Federation's(FIG) 2016 Lisbon World Cup.

Son on Sunday earned two silver medals after she posted career-high scores in the final rounds of ball and clubs, gaining 18-point-550 points in each event.

She also earned 18-point-500 points in hoop to win a bronze medal.

Son acquired 17-point-450 points in ribbon, but failed to reach the final round of the event.

Her medal victories come after she finished fourth in the individual all-around on Saturday due to mistakes in the ribbon apparatus.

Son will next participate in the World Cup in Pesaro, Italy in about two weeks time.
