KBS’s hit drama “Descendants of the Sun” has surpassed viewer ratings of 30 percent in South Korea.

TV ratings surveyor Nielsen Korea reported that the ninth episode of "Descendants of the Sun," broadcasted on Wednesday, had a rating of 30-point-four percent nationwide.

The rating marked 31 percent in Seoul's greater metropolitan area and a 33-point-nine percent rating in Seoul.
