The 2016 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival will be held from August 12th to the 14th at the Moonlight Festival Park in the Songdo International Business District in the South Korean port city.
 
One of the headliners at this year’s festival is American alternative rock band Weezer.
 
Organizers announced the first lineup of six bands on Tuesday that include "Panic! At the Disco," "Nothing But Thieves," "The Koxx," "Peppertones" and "We are the Night."
 
An organizer said that the second and third lineups will soon be announced and that musicians from abroad have been cast as headliners for all three days of this year's event.
 
Launched in 2006, the Pentaport Rock Festival has seen the participation of some eleven-hundred domestic and foreign rock bands and has drawn about 600-thousand visitors.
 
Last year, it ranked eighth among the world's top 50 music festivals chosen by British magazine Time Out.
