Hyundai business group executives, including chairman Chung Mong-hun, will be summoned Friday for questioning in connection with a scandal involving the illegal transfer of funds to North Korea.

Hyundai Asan Chairman Chung and company President Kim Yoon-kyu will be summoned, as well as Kim Jae-soo, foo, former head of the Hyundai Group's restructuring headquarters.

The executives have been implicated in allegations that the former Kim Dae-jung administration funneled cash to North Korea through Hyundai firms to arrange the historic inter-Korean summit in June 2000.
