The Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange is recruiting foreign correspondents in nine countries to better promote various cultural stories related to South Korea.

The foundation under the Culture Ministry says it is seeking a Korean-language writer in Mongolia, Myanmar, India, the Philippines, Venezuela, Chile, Belgium, Ukraine and the Czech Republic who specialize in the media and entertainment industries. Successful applicants must be fluent in the local language and Korean.

The correspondents will be required to write one to two stories weekly on the local culture and the spread of Korea-related topics there. The contributors will also write an in-depth report on a suggested topic every six months.
