South Korean tennis star Chung Hyeon has reached the semifinals in the men’s doubles of the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championship being held in Houston, Texas.

Chung and his Chilean partner Julio Peralta defeated Philipp Petzschner of Germany and Austria's Alexander Peya with a walkover on Thursday, the fourth day of the tournament.

This is the second time Chung reached the semifinals in a doubles tournament following the Dubai Duty Free Championships in February.

The Chung-Peralta duo will face the winners of a match between Victor Estrella Burgos of the Dominican Republic and Santiago Gonzalez of Mexico and U.S. players Eric Butorac and Scott Lipsky.
