Women's Ice Hockey Finishes 2nd in World Championship League

South Korea's women's national ice hockey team has finished second in Division 2 Group A of the 2016 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF)'s Women's World Championship.
 
In the final match against home team Slovenia Saturday morning Korea time, Team Korea won 3 to zero with goals netted by Han Su-jin Choi Ji-yeon and Park Chae-lin.
 
With a record of four wins and one loss, Korea tied with Poland and the UK with 12 winning points.
 
But it landed a second place finish as determined by tie breaker rules.
 
The South Korean women's ice hockey teamed performed its best yet in the world championship defeating North Korea and Britain in the latest tournament.
