The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has opened a new Korean food-themed center at the Creative Economy Leader (CEL) Venture Complex in Seoul.
The four-story center named “K-Style Hub” showcases the culinary culture of Korea.
Opportunities will also be available at the facility to have hands-on experiences of making and tasting Korean foods.
The new facility also houses a shop that sells Korean cultural and art products.
The tourist center on the second floor provides information on a wide array of tourism options and events offered in South Korea, such as medical tourism and a tour program focused on the Korean pop culture boom, as well as the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games.
Other facilities, including a virtual reality experience zone, and branches of travel agencies, will also be available for tourists.
The ministry expressed expectations that the K-Style Hub will serve as a key base to promote Korean cuisine and tourism among tourists.
