Lee Dae-ho Hits Second Homer

The Seattle Mariners’ first baseman Lee Dae-ho hit his second home run of the season with a walk-off homer.

In a game against the Texas Rangers at Seattle’s Safeco Field on Thursday, Lee came in at the bottom of the tenth inning as a pinch hitter for Adam Lind, with the game tied at two, and a runner on first with two outs.

Lee hit a 156-kilometer-per-hour fastball from the Texas Rangers' left-handed pitcher Jake Diekman and sent it past the left field fence for a walk-off two-run home run. Seattle won four to two.

Lee’s second home run puts his major league batting average at .231. Lee is the second South Korean to hit a walk-off home run after Choo Shin-soo of the Texas Rangers.
