Stradivari String Quartet to Perform in S. Korea

A string quartet consisting of musicians playing Stradivarius instruments will hold a concert in South Korea for the first time.

Stradivarius refers to the name of stringed instruments made by Italian craftsman Antonio Stradivari, who died in 1737, and his family. His string instruments are still considered to be the finest ever made.

The Stradivari Quartet consists of musicians who play Stradivarius instruments owned by the Swiss-based Habisreutinger Foundation.

During its visit to South Korea, the quartet will perform in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province, on April 25th, and then in Seoul on the 26th and the 27th.
