KBS Documentaries Win Awards at NY Festivals World's Best TV & Films

A documentary produced by KBS about a group of mothers and their autistic children won an award at the New York Festivals World’s Best TV and Films.
 
KBS announced on Monday that “Mom and Clarinet” won the Gold World Medal in the category of Human Concerns Documentary during the awards presentation ceremony held in Las Vegas last Tuesday.
 
Broadcast on October tenth of last year via KBS TV1, “Mom and Clarinet” is a documentary about mothers and their autistic children and their inspirational journey through a six-month musical project. The Gold World Medal winner also earned the UNDPI Silver, presented by the United Nations Jury at the event.
 
KBS said another one of its documentaries, “The Next Human,” won the Silver World Medal in the category of Science and Technology Documentary.
 
This year’s New York Festivals World’s Best TV and Films, now in its 59th year, honors programming in all lengths and forms from over 50 countries.
