S. Korea Reports Second Zika Infection

South Korea reported its second confirmed Zika infection case on Wednesday.

South Korea's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) said that a 20-year-old man tested positive for the mosquito-borne virus, which is believed to be linked to microcephaly.

The CDC said the man experienced flu-like symptoms after returning from a trip to the Philippines from April tenth to the 14th. He reportedly told health authorities that he was bitten by a mosquito while traveling in the Southeast Asian country.

The man is said to be staying at his home, but health authorities plan to recommend he enter into a state-designated hospital for treatment.

Last month, South Korea reported its first case of a Zika infection when a 43-year-old man tested positive for the virus after returning from a business trip to Brazil.
