Twins' Park Byung-ho Listed as MLB April All-Star

South Korean slugger Park Byung-ho of the Minnesota Twins has been named as an April All-Star of U.S. major league baseball by American sports weekly Sports Illustrated.

The weekly announced its MLB All-Stars for April, the first month of the league's 2016 regular season, for each position. 

Sports Illustrated chose Park as the best designated hitter(DH) in April.

It said that though the 29-year-old South Korean newcomer hit 105 homers over the past two seasons in Korea's KBO(Korea Baseball Organization) league, the question was whether Park's power would translate stateside, and so far the answer is a resounding yes.

Park debuted in U.S. Major League Baseball this year. In 17 games so far, he has scored five homers and seven runs batted in(RBI) with a batting average of .241.
