Twins' Park Hits Season's 9th Homer

South Korean slugger Park Byung-ho of the Minnesota Twins blasted two home runs on Friday, ending a hitless streak in past games.

The 30-year-old batted fifth as a designated hitter in the game against the Cleveland Indians held at the Progressive Field ballpark in Cleveland, Ohio.

Park led off the top second with a solo shot and launched his second, a two-run homer, in the third inning. It was his eighth and ninth home runs this season.

It was the slugger's first home run of the season with a man aboard and also his first back-to-back homers since debuting in U.S. Major League Baseball this year.

The Twins lost the game to the Indians 7-6.
