Wang Jeung-hun Wins Mauritius Open

South Korean golfer Wang Jeung-hun has won the Mauritius Open on the European Tour.

The 20-year-old hit three birdies, three bogies and even par on Sunday, the last day of the competition held at the Four Seasons Golf Club on Mauritius, an island near Africa’s Madagascar.

Wang hit six-under par, or 282 strokes on the 72-par course, topping runner-up Siddikur Rahman from Bangladesh, by one stroke. He secured prize money of 166-thousand-660 euros, or about 220 million won.

Wang’s victory comes after he won the Trophee Hassan II on the European Tour in Morocco just a week earlier.
