S. Korean Rhythmic Gymnast Wins Bronze at FIG World Cup

South Korea’s Rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae won a bronze medal in the individual all-around at the International Federation of Gymnastics (FIG) World Cup in Bulgaria.
 
The 22-year-old finished third earning a career-high 74-point-200 points in total in the individual all-around at the FIG World Cup in Sofia held on Friday and Saturday.
 
Son won 18-point-550 points in hoop and 18-point-650 in ball on the first day of the competition on Friday. She earned 18-point-600 points in clubs and 18-point-400 in ribbon on the second day.
 
It is the second time that Son won a medal in the individual all-around at a World Cup this season.
 
Russia's Yana Kudryavtseva, a three-time world all-around champion, won the event with a score of 75-point-750, followed by Ukraine's Ganna Rizatdinova who earned 74-point-250.
 
Son will pursue more medals in Sofia on Sunday as she competes in all the four apparatus finals.
