S. Korea Loses to Spain 6-1 in Friendly Football Match

South Korea’s national football team lost to Spain 6-1 in a friendly match held in Salzburg, Austria on Wednesday.
 
The team, led by Uli Stielike, witnessed the crushing defeat after showing weakness in defense in the match against the country ranked sixth in the world by FIFA.

The first goal came in the 30th minute from David Silva. Just two minutes later, Cesc Fàbregas scored the second goal before Nolito scored the last goal of the first half. In the second half, Alvaro Morata added a goal and Nolito netted his second goal of the match.
 
Ju Se-jong scored South Korea’s only goal in the 38th minute of the second half. Just before the match ended, Morata added another goal.
 
Team Korea will travel to Prague and on Sunday, compete in another warm-up match against the Czech Republic which is placed 29th in the FIFA rankings.
