Mariners' Lee Hits 8th Homer, Twins' Park Plays First 3-Hit Game

South Korean slugger Lee Dae-ho of the Seattle Mariners has scored his eighth home run of the season.

In an away match against the San Diego Padres on Friday, the 34-year-old pinch-hit for first baseman Adam Lind and hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning when the Mariners were behind 12-4.

Elsewhere in the U.S., Park Byung-ho of the Minnesota Twins ended his recent slump with his first three-hit game since debuting in U.S. Major League Baseball.

In a home game against the Tampa Bay Rays in Minneapolis, the 30-year-old batted sixth as the designated hitter. He went three-for-three with a walk and two runs scored, contributing to the 6-4 victory for the Twins.
