South Korea's under-18 national football team defeated powerhouse England in an exhibition match held in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province on Friday.

Led by coach Jeong Jeong-yong, Team Korea won 2-0. Kim Jin-ya scored 16 minutes into the second half while Lee Seung-woo added another on a penalty kick three minutes later.

The team was rallied for the first time in eight months since the under-17 FIFA World Cup held in Chile last October.

In their latest performance, the South Korean players demonstrated solid teamwork against England.
