S. Korea Defeats Czech 2-1 in Friendly Football Match

South Korea defeated Czech Republic 2-1 in a friendly football match in Prague on Sunday.
 
The South Korean national football team, led by Uli Stielike, won the game as midfielder Yoon Bitgaram scored a goal in the 26th minute with a free kick and Suk Hyun-jun added another in the 40th minute.
 
The Czech Republic scored one goal in the second half. 
 
The Czechs fought the last half hour with ten players as its defender Theodor Gebre Selassie was sent off.
 
The South Korean team’s win came after its crushing 6-1 defeat against Spain on Wednesday. The win also marked the team’s first win against Czech since 2001.
 
The Korean team will return home on Tuesday to prepare for qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
