Golfer Park In-bee Qualifies for LPGA Tour Hall of Fame

Upon completing the first round of the season's second major, South Korean golfer Park In-bee has become eligible to put her name into the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame.

Park officially qualified as she capped off the first round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, the tenth event of the season, by completing the requirement of ten years on tour for the Hall of Fame eligibility.

She ranked 20th by scoring a one-over-72, including three birdies and four bogeys, at the first round of the KPMG Championship, which was held at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington.

She is the second South Korean and Asian golfer to join the LPGA Hall of Fame since her compatriot Park Se-ri was granted the honor in 2007 at the age of 29.

At the age of 27, Park In-bee is also the youngest to enter the LPGA Hall of Fame. She is the 25th member of the hall.
