Emoticons of Pyeongchang Olympics' Mascots Distributed

The organizing committee of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang is distributing emoticons of the official mascots for the Games.

The committee said that starting from Tuesday, people are allowed to download free emoticons of the mascots “Soohorang,” a white tiger, and “Bandabi,” an Asian black bear character, which were unveiled on June second.

People may download the emoticons at KakaoTalk by adding “2018 Pyeongchang” as a "Plus" friend.

Up to 100-thousand individuals will be allowed to download the emoticons, while commercial use of them and downloading by companies or organizations are prohibited.

The organizing committee plans to hold events to promote the mascots in July in Seoul and Pyeongchang.
