85% of S. Koreans Aged 60 or Older Watch TV Daily

A recent survey shows that more than 85 percent of South Koreans aged 60 or older watch television every day.

The Korea Information Society Development Institute disclosed the finding on Thursday based on a nationwide survey conducted on seven-thousand-553 people from four-thousand-266 households between June first and August 21st of last year.

The survey shows that 85-point-three percent of those in their 60s or older are watching TV every day.

Those in their 50s followed at 74-point-five percent, while 60-point-seven percent of those in their 40s said they watch TV every day.

The respective portions for those in their 30s and 20s were 58-point-one percent and 44 percent, respectively.
