Lydia Ko Wins Third LPGA Tour Victory of Season

Pro-golfer Lydia Ko has won the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship for her third LPGA tour victory of the year.

The South Korean-born New Zealander and world number one finished with a bogey in the 18th hole, but reduced three strokes on the final day Sunday at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas.

Ko carded 17-under 196 to edge out American Morgan Pressel and Taiwan's Candie Kung, who tied for second place.

Canadian Brooke Henderson defeated Ko two weeks ago at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in the U.S. state of Washington, but Ko came back to capture first place.

The 19-year-old now has 13 career LPGA Tour victories under her belt. Only Ko and Thailand's Ariya Jutanugarn have won three championships this season.
