Nat'l Football Team Unveils Final Roster for Rio Olympics

South Korea’s Olympic football team has revealed its final roster for the upcoming Rio Summer Games.

Coach Shin Tae-yong announced the 18-player roster on Monday in central Seoul, which included Son Heung-min, Seok Hyun-jun and Jang Hyun-soo as three “wild cards.”

The Olympic tournament is open to players under the age of 23, though countries are each allowed to select up to three older players as "wild cards" on their roster.

The South Korean team will depart for São Paulo, Brazil on July 18th for friendly games with Iraq on July 25th and Sweden on July 30th.

The team will travel to Salvador to face Fiji for its first Olympic match on August fourth.
