World Conference on Social Work Opens in Seoul

An international conference on social work opened on Monday at the COEX convention center in southern Seoul.
Seoul City expects about three-thousand social welfare experts from some 80 countries will participate in the World Conference on Social Work, Education and Social Development.
Under the theme “Promoting the Dignity and Worth of People,” the conference will feature lectures and host about 80 symposiums and workshops during its four-day run.
About 18-hundred dissertations on social welfare will be presented and about 100 companies and organizations on social work will operate exhibition booths during the conference.
