Foreign Minister Suggests Willingness to Accept Five-way Talks

South Korea is open to the proposed five-way talks aimed at resolving North Korea's nuclear issue.

Foreign Minister Yoon Young-kwan hinted at South Korea's willingness to participate in the five-nation talks by saying what is important is to keep the talks going regardless of their format.

Yoon made the statement Tuesday while briefing reporters on the outcome of President Roh Moo-hyun's visit to Japan.
